Pluto Press is an independent, political publishing house. Founded in 1969, they are one of Britain’s oldest radical publishers, but their focus remains making timely interventions in contemporary struggles across the world.

Pluto has published extensively on the politics of the Middle-East, with a focus on the lives of the region’s people. Their books contain critical and deeply radical political analyses, questioning the acts of Western interventionist and imperialist forces. Their authors include Richard Falk, Ella Shohat, Noam Chomsky, Jeff Halper, Fawwaz Traboulsi, Mohammad-Mahmoud Ould Mohamedou, Hamid Dabashi, Adam Hanieh, Thomas Schmidinger, and Nahla Abdo.

Pluto is proud to partner with MERIP, as the mission of both organizations is to empower and educate people with alternative viewpoints on such a contested and important area of the world.

You can view their books on the Middle East on their website here.
